“There is a strong need for creative self-expression in today’s world that can be exercised through this idea, perhaps more now than ever. Creativity is a lot more than just connecting things. Connection is the first step, but beyond that, creativity requires synthesis. It is what we do with the connections that really matters. We are beginning to reconnect with the importance of thoughtful food choices to nourish our bodies and in turn the importance of nourishment for our souls as a matter of well-being. Hand-making somethign can be antoher way to nourish ourselves; it inherently requires synthesis and includes creating a connection with both material and process. Through the effort we can exercise our ability to share on a number of levels, and revel in the challenge and the joy we get from doing so. At the core of all these connections is a message that says, “You are not alone. “”
